92% original blue finish, bright polished components with some minor
staining. Slide engraved P. Orr &
Sons Madras & Rangoon, black hard rubber grips (undamaged);
good bore with very slight marks. Complete in its original brown leather
flap-top holster. Manufactured C1911, and with a particularly hard to
find retailer’s mark. £385

Mod HSc cal 7.65mm Assembled and produced during
French occupation of the Oberndorf factory site after the end of WW2 for
issue to their troops in the Indo-china conflict. Standard specification
with chequered wood grips and a blacky Parkerized finish, trigger guard
marked with intertwined MR which is the French military inspector’s
mark. Slide marked with Mauser banner trademark and Mauser-Werke-A.G.
Oberndorf a.N./ Mod. HSc Kal. 7.65mm. Pistol appears as new with a
perfect bore and virtually 100% parkerized finish remaining. According to
Pender’s book Mauser Pocket
Pistols 1910-1945 total production of this particular variant was
approximately 15,000 |
